About District 2
Sonoma County’s 2nd Supervisorial District is located in the southern portion of the county and includes a vibrant mix of cities, small towns, rural communities, and agricultural lands. The district encompasses the City of Cotati, the community of Penngrove, the City of Petaluma, and parts of the City of Rohnert Park, along with surrounding rural and agricultural areas that help define Sonoma County’s identity and economy.
District 2 is known for its rich agricultural heritage, thriving small businesses, and strong sense of community. Vineyards, farms, and open spaces sit alongside residential neighborhoods and historic downtown areas, creating a balance between rural character and urban centers.
